Falling In Love Is Easy

The moment eye contact was made between us I knew love was on the arise
When the words came off your lips they sounded so angelic, a wonderful surprise
Never knew a mere mortal could speak like a being from the heavenly skies
And when a touch was made between our bodies it caressed me deep where
the soul lies
Constant days we spent in each other's arm sharing our most intimate thoughts
We forgot and forgave and didn't hold one another to any of our faults
Many nights I would turn down the radio just to hear the joyful ring of the phone
Happiness spread across my face every time I called and you were home
Some nights I would even lie in my bed and dream about the future of my life
What would you say if one day I was to get on my knee and ask thee to be my wife
My one and only, the one person who overwhelms me with everlasting joy
And never play games with my heart for it's tender and not meant to be treated
like a toy
Breaking up tortures the soul when feelings are so deep and mutual for one
another
I' ve had my share of woman but when I think about who makes me happier there
is no other
