Love Poem: Fall Apart

Fall Apart

I'm not Post Malone so I won't fall apart
How can you hurt me when I don't have a heart?
Sorry to break it to you, but you can't break me
You say I'm not good enough now, but I guarantee later on you will chase me

There was a time I tried to help everyone and I was always available
Until a certain girl took advantage and my heart was no longer capable
So I moved on and forgot people who I thought were irreplaceable
I made myself numb, so I could stand back up, every time I take a fall

Some will use others, cry on shoulders and fall on many
But I cut my heart out, became my own protector & I won't call on any
That's why when you were cheating with him, it didn't even phase me
I told you to go, none of that pathetic begging like "Why are you leaving, baby?"

Sorry to burst your bubble
But in a world full of women, you're just not worth the trouble
Isn't it funny how love works?, one minute she's looking at you with her Bedroom eyes
Then the next, you're at a payphone like Maroon 5

But I'm not calling you back, I'm calling on myself
The pain from the falling was felt
But I moved past it, quicker than Usain Bolt runs
So you can't break my heart, because I have a cold one

I'm not Post Malone so I won't fall apart
How can you hurt me when I don't have a heart?
Sorry to break it to you, but you can't break me
You say I'm not good enough now, but I guarantee later on you will chase me
