Faith of Love

Destiny, engraved on a mountain of stone,
its greatness was foretold ever since the time was born;
Whether damp of spring, frost of winter or gust of fall,
hopeful hearts could climb, even the highest wall.

For, where souls that longed for gold at the end of the road
could brave the devious slopes, just to have their prize in horde;
So with two hearts that longed to be together
that could turn against the tides to be with each other.

On top of the highest mountain, a bright light was shining,
it's the light that shone forth, ever since the beginning;
It called for those who kept the faith of love within their grip,
that in the end they'd thrive, no matter how many times they'd slip.

Where history swung its hand again and again,
one who kept the faith of love, in the end, would always win;
For, it was in this precept that the time of man was born.
Those who dwelt in its promise should soon see the light of morn.
