Faith Is Found
Look at me Lord I’m down on my knees
Crying a river and begging you please.
My life has turned upside down
There are no answers, no none to be found.
I look all around but it’s blurring my eyes
I open my mouth can you hear my cries?
I’m walking alone in a valley so dark
I’m trying to see and reach my mark.
The darkness is coming abundant and fast
I need Your help I know I won’t last.
I close my eyes trying not to be scared
Hoping You’ll come and my life will be spared.
Not knowing it then, You were right by my side
While I fell on my knees, I begged, I cried.
You took my hand and You helped me up
You gave me a drink, a drink from Your cup.
You carry me through this valley so dark
As I look far ahead I’m seeing my mark.
You tell me You love me and say we’re okay
As we’re coming closer, night’s turning to day.
We come out of the valley and now I see
That through this trial You never left me.
I’m sorry I doubted that You weren’t here
And from now on I know that You’re very near.
I love you Lord Jesus with all of my heart
From now on to forever, You, I will never depart.
