Facets of Love

Always a gentle rose in the cubicles of my mind,
Each velvety petal unfolding, one day at a time.
The radiant beauty of a blushing new bride;
The whimsical disposition of an evening tide.

The color of our love is as the earth to the sea;
Beauty of emerald gardens and blossoming Spring trees.
Rapture of the most magnificent, roseate sunsets,
Like the prima ballerina's, graceful pirouettes.

Crimson tides, of our most beautiful love,
Sanctioned by the Angels, looking down from above.
Multifaceted fireworks bedazzling our eyes,
Each color the arousal of a brand new surprise.

Capturing endearing moments when love's put to the test,
Ovations of colors - which is the best?
A pastel calmness, of lavender blue,
Red roses for my love - a love so true?

Color us serene in yesterday's verdant meadows,
Color us content, under newly prismed rainbows.
Color us happy under azure blue skies,
Color us fulfilled, standing under, a golden sunrise.

How many ways can I color I love you?
The colors are infinite as are the hues.
Perchance the best color is white, for our Lord's Pure Love,
Shining on us eternally, from the Heaven's above.
