Exulting Love In Verse-Lgt

Isn't love a warm glow that puts smiles on sadness-ridden faces?
It's that delightful feeling exploding inside and brightening up
the day of the hungry, the sick, the abused and the forsaken ones!

Isn't love giving of oneself without expecting reciprocation?
It's selflessness giving hope to heavy hearts when despair
is read across their distraught faces longing for consolation!

Isn't love an act of compassion towards those who have little or nothing?
It's clothing them and feeding them until they regain lost strength;
it's rebuilding what was destroyed by Nature or Man so ravaging!

Isn't love hugging that child who has no one to hush his cry?
It's the kindness of someone's heart that stops his tears;
it's the tenderness of words he hears in a sweet lullaby!

Isn't love reaching out to others and make a difference?
it's offering everything to wipe out disease and poverty;
it's this poet's small and humble gift exulting love in verse!
