Love Poem: Excuse Me, Jesus

Excuse Me, Jesus

EXCUSE ME , JESUS. I'LL SAY IT NOW, FOR I'M CERTAIN ON THAT GLORIOUS DAY, WHEN
YOU COME BACK TO PICK ME UP,
NO WORDS WILL I BE ABLE TO CONVAY.

I KNOW MY MIND WILL LEAVE ME,....... FINE!
I WONT NEED IT ANYWAY!
HOW MY HEART, EVEN NOW, YEARNS FOR YOU.
AND I'M SORRY, BUT I WONT WAIT MY TURN TO TOUCH YOU.
TO HUG YOUR NECK, AND KISS YOUR TOE.
AND I'M CERTAIN THAT I WON'T LET GO.

I FEEL IT'S NECESSARY TO DECLARE TO ALL
THAT I WILL BE THE JESUS-FOOL!
I''LL TRY MY BEST TO GIVE YOU ALL SOME ROOM,
CUZ I KNOW THAT YOU LOVE HIM, TOO.

OH, WHAT AN UNIMAGINABLE MASS JUBILATION!
AN UNCENSORED, INCOMPREHENSIBLE, JOYOUS CELEBRATION!
HOW, OH LORD, WILL WE ALL HOLD YOU @ THE SAME TIME?!?

SURELY, YOU AND FATHER HAVE IT ALREADY PLANNED.
A MILLION ON YOUR HIP, AND A MILLION AT EACH HAND.
MAYBE 6MILLION CARESSING STRANDS OF YOUR HAIR,
AND 10 MILLION KISSING YOUR FEET.

SO, EXCUSE ME NOW, AND I LOVE YOU,MY PRECIOUS JESUS.
I'LL SAY IT NOW WHILE I AM ABLE TO SPEAK.
