Love Poem: Enter the Red Room

Enter the Red Room

Let's take a step back in time,
step into the golden temple of God
that Solomon built
There shining on a hill
stood the beautiful sanctuary of God,
casting forth resplendent rays of golden light
Let's walk through the outer court
to the inner court
Up to the holy doors
leading into the corridor
Then we approach the largest space,
where the congregation will gather soon
We open the palm tree carved doors,
and enter the red room
But when we walk in, to your surprise,
the room isn't what it appears to be ...
It's golden all around
The beautifully carved red cedar wood
is overlaid with gold
The body of the red room has golden skin
Now everyone is gathering, coming in
Come one, come all
into the glorious red room
We be those covered by the blood of Jesus Christ,
the red room covers everyone within ...
covers everyone's sins,
as the worshiping begins
Prayers and songs of praise is our offering
to God in the holy red room
As we leave the red room ---
rich red cedar wood covered in gold,
we see how God has promised to one day deliver to us
the blessings of His Son manifold
