Endless Love

ENDLESS LOVE

I’ve asked myself a thousand times why do I love you so much?
The power and strength you have over me I reflect in every touch
To see you brings joy to my heart, I’m like a child at play
Yet in the very back of mind hides a fear it’ll all end one day
I convince myself that one day our lives will then entwine
It will have been a long journey but worth it if you are then mine
A heart is not a big thing until it’s full of love
Then everything fits into place like a hand into a glove
I have been fond of others but no one quite like you
To set my heart and passion burning so little you need to do
Just kiss me and I travel into my world of dreams
Where I am yours and you are mine and nothings as it seems
If wishes still were possible as sometimes they can be
I’d wish that I could be with you for all eternity
Although I am forgetting your views upon this love
Do you wish to live your life like a hand inside a glove?
Everything just perfect, no rows and nothing wrong
To live a life of perfection you really must be strong
Please don’t think I doubt you, you swore your love for me
Upon the grave of someone close so finally I would see
What bothers me my darling is will our love survive
The many years we have apart or will this make it thrive?
I pray it will get stronger to live on after we’re gone
Just like a star in heaven has shone and shone and shone
Whatever happens darling you’re engraved upon my soul
If you took a knife and killed me it would still remain a whole
I see in you just goodness you can do nothing wrong
I’d love a life of perfection for that I could be strong
The light is growing dim now it’s time for me to leave
My love for you will carry on for as long as people breathe
That’s meant to be forever, time without an end
I love you very very much my lover and my friend.
