Endless Heartache

Do you know what it’s like?
To have fallen in love,
To have given it your all,
To then be gotten rid of,
Your body feels cold,
Your heart fills with hate,
And if it's happen to you,
Then you can maybe relate,
You think of the times,
That love filled the air,
Ask yourself what went wrong,
To bring on this dis-pair,
When you crawl into bed,
Is when it hurt you the most,
With there’s no one to hold you,
Nobody to pull close,
Your face floods with tears,
You toss and you turn,
As you try to forget them,
Yet cannot help but yearn,
For the love which was once there,
That love of your life,
You may have felt that you'd end up,
As a husband and wife,
But now it's all over,
For now you’re all alone,
You just want to be able,
To pick up the phone,
To just dial their number,
For that line to pick up,
To just speak with this person,
To just kiss and make up!
