End of the Road

Goodbye love no sweet twist at the end
No kiss on cheek we were never friends
This game of hearts is over no need to pretend
No never a pawn but the queen which attends
My heart was in your arms but now in the wind
Circling in my mind we were never friends
A road to no end no time for the might of been
You’re on a oneway street coming to dead ends
At the end of the road no turn around the bend
With arms around hearts your new best friends
When you run out of cards to play having all the wins
No kiss on the cheek for this heart is in the wind
