Love Poem: Embracing Eros

Embracing Eros

To brush candle wicks to a flame
On table for a welcome eye
My heart of love will bow to you
This night with Gods we'll fly

The ocean floods breezes for palms
Siren's call is heard from the sea
Your form fills flickers from candles
The wind blows your hair free

Your smile captured my heart's yearning
Holding it silent, ever soft
We'll feast with waves as our music
Under the stars aloft

Hold hands while strolling the seashore
And search horizons for our dreams
We'll watch our footsteps wash away
And laugh at what it means

We'll kiss on the shores of moonlight
And feel each wanton need from within
Each kiss will leave trailed traces
Sacred, rejoicing in

We'll lay in the sand to Europa
And embrace sighs from Eros flight
Passion will sweep away ebb tides
Lost in waves of the night
