Love Poem: Elusive Butterfly

Elusive Butterfly

Even now, the butterflies in stomach churn-
Forbidden fruits which love has failed for sure
Than something more than rarity can burn;
Remnants from ones gaze and wanting more.

AS tremble stricken flutters jolt the spine;
This love becomes my lifelong wish to feel
Elusive dreams to think that you're all mine
To constantly assume that this is real.

There's a purity the way your essence moves
My soul! With intrigue brings the beacon near,
And searching undulating labours smoothe
Sees patience as the virtue you must fear.

Those eyes of yours preceive to paradise,
Where memories of meeting you are found
In nightmares to emerge where they suffice
To disappear like rain inside the ground.

And here to offer much with this request -
Like something that my heart can do without
The mirage making way performance test
Is one I'm still involved with working out.
