Eager Emma Elephant

Emma Elephant was desperate to become a mum
And have a baby elephant growing in her tum

Unfortunately poor Emma didn’t have a mate
In fact she had never ever even been on a date

So she put on her best dress and went to a dance
Had her heart set on a little romance

Out of the corner of her eye she spied the perfect man
She tried to get his attention by wafting her feather fan

He was handsome big and strong
With an enormous trunk it was very very long

Their eyes met across the crowded dance floor
They entwined trunks, Emma couldn’t wish for more

Now Emma and her man are husband and wife
She’s expecting her baby and has a perfect life.

So the moral of the story is don’t sit back and wait
Grab each opportunity don’t leave it down to fate
