Dusk of Grey

On the outside,
               the quiet dusk of grey

Sits the cloudy days
                      of our ending times

We won’t speak about it,
                             it’s not okay

Your heart didn’t speak to me,
                       it won’t chime

Nor will it bring relief
               on crush align

Not a piece of me
                       is left to be cleaved

Produced by this evenings
                             worrisome leave

Emptiness bellows on in,
                       heartless pain

Our lives are darkly lit,
               left to unweave

By the tailored look
                      of the devils mane
