Drowning In Summer

Drowning In Summer

Bright sun and storm clouds, just
squeeze me between
Rain wash this dirty boulevard.
Yes, she rebounded, with shameless
bare breasts.
Starving me with meals of broken
hearts.

I drowned in the freedom Summer
starts.

As cool breeze stirred, and we tried
to write Free Bird
But she was too free to fly with me.
She saved it for man
So, she saved it for me
We came to play by our rules.

She drowned me in a summer time
cool.

Summer days want to run.
They go but do not leave.
This lack of air, has a hold of me.
Drowning me quite clearly.

Now I cannot bear the sight of sun
without her.
And those Petty sounds are pretty
now no more..
We free fell down, and we learned to
drown.
No breath held now, calling out for
more.

Summer days want to run.
They go but do not leave.
This lack of air, has a hold of me.
Drowning me quite clearly.
This lack of air, is flooding my
dreams.
Drowning me quite clearly.

Oh, the Summer has drowned me
