Dream Lady
I have just seen her
She is just over there
But where has she gone
How could she just disappear
Gorgeous my memory so vivid she was so beautiful
Chestnut brown eyes sensuous hips and raven black hair
or was it striking blue eyes slim and flowing flaxen hair
a dream just silly introspection perhaps says more
fool brooding on time I look up and a she is there
living my life past all as in shadows
taking a ride down memory lane
I take a look at her again
silver grey her hair a platinum gold
she burns like a heavenly flame
trying to catch my breath
down by the waters edge
I will lay thee down on this hallowed ground
when the morning comes we will be as one
