Down On My Knees
I talk to God down on my knees,
He hears me in the beauty of the trees:
Jesus paid it all because of God's love,
I look forward to seeing Heaven above:
Down on my knees makes me feel better,
I try to follow God down to the letter:
I do make mistakes along the way,
I repent to God everyday:
He cleanses my heart with my tears,
This helps me to have less fears:
The trials and tribulations are tough,
Sometimes I feel like I've had enough:
Down on my knees is my best,
Even when I'm taking a rest:
The Holy Spirit does lead me,
I will follow God's footprints, you see:
I talk to God down on my knees,
He's the one I want to please.
