Do You Think Old Birds Dream of Flying

Do you think old birds dream of flying Of Catching one more heavenly up draft beneath their tired wings Before they come in for their final landing Maybe dogs and cats dream of playing with children that once loved them And race horses run faster than the speed of sound in their sleep They say elephants remember everything And so do I knowing that it's not always a good thing to remember But no matter all is forgiven now in the name of love And I will dream of you tonight
