Do This I Must

Do my time, 4 a made up crime,

To do this, I write in rhyme.

I learned to live, can never trust,

To get anywhere, Do This I Must.

Cuz up till now, I trusted all,

Those people whom, would come or call.

They take advantage, & keep me down,

Took phones & cars, felt like I’d drown.

Over & over, I let this happen,

If I could sing, I would be rappn'.

Still my life sucks, but could be worse,

I could be dead, & in a hearse.

I’ve already lived 9 lives times 2,

Sometimes it seems, will never be through.

That’s why I’m here, for much needed rest,

To get back the strength, to be the best.

Mom to my son must regain his trust,

As stated B4, Do This I Must.

To teach my son, right from wrong,

This will be so easy, done the latter so long.

This too will change, I promise dat,

To start from scratch, like 1st time at bat.

New clothes, new car, to travel far,

Will do my best, to pass the bar.

Start a new life, all on my own.

Contact my son, by e-mail or phone,

Be there 4 him, just like my own.

He’s a big boy now, just not full grown,

Ashes to ashes, dust to dust,

Will take 50 lashes, but Do This I Must!
