Love Poem: Do the Dangle

Do the Dangle

He moves fast, so jet set
Go glamour globetrotting,
having amorous affairs cosmopolitan

Carrying no emotional baggage of regret,
no tear-stained cloth spotting
Lonely hearts do get winsome wet when it rain

Make a friendly club bet,
pickup the carry-out before ten
No placebo pills will ease their morning sickness pain

Last night, they did the horizontal tango,
tops off, bottoms down
Lights off, passion on when you do the dangle

Oh, the boudoir things the body learn
when it starts moving slow
Eyes open wide when low the candle burn

Anticipation in the air leaves them lustily hanging,
hope of real love is a rewind silver screen reel
Wedding bell chime dreams are midnight dangling

Mistress in Madrid,
lover in Lisbon
A wife in each Americas,
heartbreaker born to run

Jet set stony smiles never do tell,
and thrusting tongues never wanna know
Sunken cruise ships will never again sail

Pining hearts sadly waiting at the window,
wondering when is true love coming in
As a jet set breeze in and out the door blow

Mistress in Mumbai,
lovers in Lusaka and Luanda
A wife in every continent,
heartbreaker born to run

Every night, enticing eyes erotic dance another tangle,
vertical promises made, horizontal hearts broken
No runway lights on when takeoff fantasies do the dangle
