Disillusioned
we
went to
the temple to pray
that we may feel Gods presence
finding there souls seeking end to their sorrow
in as related to transient earth life goals
their fears reinforced by priests
to control the herd
so we sat
still
wondering
at the foolishness
of mockery thus man made
attempting to cage God in their narrowness
even though it is apparent to us all
that the void of soft silence
in each breath intake
ignites a love flame
in our heart
as proof
of God
