Some people say
love is blind
you don't see love
until it hits you in the face
or has already passed you by
I say love is deaf
so many people say
I love you,
but people take a deaf ear
and they pretend not to hear
whether scared to commit
or scared for another reason
Love is strange
works in strange ways
and doesn't always come
out as expected
