Different Love

I love differently to Most
Over 5000 poems finished, we'll be here forever if you need an explanation for every rhyme I've wrote
I make mistakes to learn, I fall short so I can grow
Sorry but I love a little differently to most

I wear my heart on my sleeve, so aiming for the chest is the wrong target
I'll hide when I need help, because letting my pride go is the hardest
I'll satisfy you and will always fully pleasure your needs
But anxiety and depression let me know you can do better than me

I'll probably flinch and be scared when we first touch
My whole life I've been made to feel like I don't deserve love
I write more than I talk
I can express myself in poetry, but struggle to vocalize my thoughts

I've been let down so many times, I don't allow my hopes to raise up
I'm quiet most of the time, so please don't expect me to say much
Even if i really like the girl I still need my own time and space
I lose my thoughts regularly because my mind's a maze

I'm the furthest thing from perfect you will ever meet
I need you to accept me as I am not try to better me
I make mistakes to learn, I fall short in order to grow
Sorry for all you romantic ladies, but I love different to most
