Love Poem: Different Houses

Different Houses

A house made of straw, am I the big bad wolf

The wind of the lungs, just may blow it away

If I believed everything said about me, where would I be today

Do I listen to any of it I can’t see, and believe it anyway

Build yourself a sandcastle, and it may be washed away

Enjoy every second with a friend, time always runs out

Take time to be free, or you may lose sight of mind

Can you build a house of glass, if so never throw stones

Now you can see through, but how will you judge

By acting so silly, and holding a grudge

Drive a car a little to fast, use brakes to slow you up

Brick houses never blow down, but can be leveled to the ground

Safe from sound of the outer roar, just until you open a door

Your house is your haven, and even your nest

Have what your craving, you’ll like it the best

What are you saying, I say surely you jest

I am done raving, and now going to rest
