Dewdrops Throb

Dewdrops Throb
One misty dawn a rose was kissed The kiss of love, full flush In magic of a morning tryst Her joyful soul became bewitched On her face shone a scarlet blush Dewdrops from her eyes rush. Rose tells her secrets to the trees She knows they understand Praying down on her bended knees That the love she’d found never leaves Asks God to lend His helping hand Dewdrops from heaven land. Tears that come from deep devotion For the one of her dreams He is her poetry potion Healer of inner commotion Inside her spirit glows in beams Dewdrops slide down in streams. The rose pirouettes all day long Dancing for joy and love Singing to her favourite song A choir of birds chirping along Busy bees buzzing o’er foxglove Dewdrops throb high above.
