Destiny's Digression

Elegant smiles concealing the pain,
limping wise men refusing the cane,
sinister soldiers surprising their shame.
Priceless pawns purged into war, but in vain,
for the fall of the king marks the start of a new game.

My path is different, I will not be the same;
while your dreams run rampant, my dreams lie tame.
I seek not wisdom, I seek not fame, nor money nor power to add to my name.
My will of fire is all that remains,
I'll fight fire with fire and shield still with flames!

But alas! My path is blocked by this frivolous rain.

Stupid! So Stupid! How foolish am I?
To think my adversary as eternal as pi.
Rain cast away like the moon to the day, gone with no trace of a sigh.
Power! Oh Power! I love you no lie,
beating Bruce Lee and piercing the sky.
Money! Your power turns girls to guys,
buy busty bimbos, nice chest and thighs.
Fame is so great, for fame i would die,
kisses and praise every time i walk by.

I am amazing, I'm such a great guy,
cuz I've got money and fame on my side.
My wisdom proceeds me, with god my brain ties.
And I'm superior, my power's divine,
set straight the boundaries, I'll still cross the line!

I seek not wisdom, I seek not fame, nor money nor power to add to my name,
yet they all seek me and I've no right to deny
the gifts of the gods, the gifts from the sky!
Yet one thing still strains me, one thing makes me cry,
the flames deep inside me have burned themselves dry.
Survival's in question, without fire I'll die.
I just wish the flames of my will and eye
could have seen eye to I.
