Love Poem: Desire

Desire

I would wait forever
Just to once again hear you voice on the telephone line
Seeing your face
Would drive me out of my mind
Kissing your lips
I would lose all track of time
I've longed to touch your body
Is that so much of a crime
Our hands touching forbidden places
As our eyes meet and our heart races
What we had between us time could never erase
I dream so vividly of the moment where again there's nothing between us but the
night
And it will feel so good, it feels so right
Breathing is hard
Don't you see you hold all the cards
You are the only one who could get me this far
So without even knowing it you're in charge
Sweat pouring from our skin
There are those pleasures we both win
And so now words begin
I let you know the flame we have has now become a fire
You are my everything my one eternal desire
