Love Poem: Deep In Man

Deep In Man

Deep in man’s heart there are pages
Reserved for only one quill,
Bound by the desire of the ages
For the Author of Life to fill.

The first lines in this fleshy novel
Reflect bitter sadness and despair,
For a lost soul’s hopeless grovel
Has found life is empty and bare.

Part two writes of a witness
Someone, somewhere who knew
That only the King of Righteousness
Could give meaning and purpose to you.

Now another chapter we see begins
For you weighed the truth of Gods Word,
Repented of worldliness and sin
As rejoicing in heaven was heard!

Deep in man’s heart there are pages
Reserved for only one quill,
Bound by the desire of the ages
For the Author of Life to fill.

The great Author knows your story,
It has been stored right next to His heart,
As you yield each page to His glory
A Life chapter anew shall start.
