Deceiver

Oh to be she who strives to mislead.
To envelop the facts within a shroud
woven in a demented mind,
played over so frequently
it is believed to be true.
How does one become such an imposter?
Who Becomes what is desired by another?
Do they lose themselves in the facade?
Or did that happen long ago?
What insecurities must one possess
to bend to such delusions?
What causes such inner torture?
Gorging upon the drama that ensues,
the hub of attention is a necessity.
With it, she doth feed her soul,
one that will burn for an eternity.
In her own cracked skull
the voices will continue.
May they whisper in her ear
and propel her further toward insanity.
