Love Poem: Decadent Dolls

Decadent Dolls

Purple people skipping down my acid trip
Warning me of the fall that is to come
If I don't escape the twisted fate that I am eating for breakfast
Diversion from reality
Divorcing misery while on vacation with hysteria
Dancing on your teacups in the crimson sky
Popping dolls, hypnotic state a thrill
Mesmerizing, suicidal fantasies of you my dear
Clever abating, suffocating control throughout the years
Was this an escape from reality or an invitation to hell?
No matter, here I wallow in your blackened abyss

Choke me silly
Laugh me still
Who am I?
Playing dolls
Fantasizing of my Barbie dream house
But, being left in this trailer park to die

Forgetting yourself
Bewitched by my emerald eyes
You fell under my spell, my love
Swallowing down the decadent dolls
That make you an amnesiac to your torment
Sliding down rainbows
Swinging wildly from the trees
Laughing loudly to the bitter silence
That has brought you to your knees

Floating words of confusion
Clouds my heart on this moonlit night
Puzzling drama rules the day
Whipping me into humble submission
Will my soul make it onto your ballot or will you vote on me another day?
Collect your signatures with your superficial smile
Take some more decadent dolls
So you'll be alive
So you'll be alive
Even though your dead inside
Take my hand to this wonderland until your memories subside
