Love Poem: Decadence

Decadence

Sometimes, I just want to say it.
Tell them all, be done with it
More reasons not to, I suppose
And one selfish excuse to speak up.
I'll save your humiliation
Prevent you shying away,more,
than you already have done
I don't want this secret
It possesses me more than I own it.

Where are the words you spoke?
Left to wither in decadence
Written in sand at low tide
too proud to be spoken aloud.
Unlike mine.
I'll speak mine crystal clear
Loud enough for the Moon to hear

I love you.

And sometimes, I just want to say it.
