Love Poem: Dear Mom

Dear Mom

Dear Mom, it has been thirty years,
Since God said you must depart,
Leave the children and grandchildren
Whom you loved with all your heart.

Daddy must have been so happy
When you walked through Heaven's door.
We left here could not stop weeping,
So sad you weren't here any more.

Time has gone on and all my siblings,
Have now joined you up above.
I can see them round your table,
Eating your meals served with love.

Every day I think about you
And all the love that filled our home.
Your heart strings could still reach us,
When we grew old enough to roam.

Some day I'll join you, Mama,
In your bright heaven up above.
And until then I know I'm covered
By your true, ever lasting love.
