Love Poem: Dear Grandpa

Dear Grandpa

Don't worry about your image now.
It will not be on my mind,
When I look back, and think of you,
The memories I will find,
Will be of the man who took me fishing,
Who put the worms on my hook,
And when I became a book worm
He bulit me cases for my books.
He taught me what it was to work,
To earn, everything you own,
So many lessons you have taught me,
And now that I am grown,
I appreciate all the little things,
I never saw before,
You've shown me, what it is to fight,
And I love you all the more.
Grandpa, I know you're dying,
And you're running out of time,
But I just wanted you to know,
I am proud to call you mine.
