I honestly thought maybe one day, we could be...
Truly there's nothing I wanted nor needed but a tiny fee.
A fee to extend time and if possible eternally..
Now I ask if mother nature will you help me?

As though, I'm back to high school show.
I remember my name being summoned to high court.
Trembling in fear, then saw you by the basketball court.
Sincerely I said, "This is no big deal".
But fool no one I was scared to lose you my dear.
Our friendship from then grew stronger.

With one audience/reader is all I ever needed.
That one believer whom I sought the word HOPE.
The world was turning, yet mine always had stopped for you.
