Days To Remember

Do you remember when I first laid eyes upon you? When you looked at me and smiled? That sideways smile that made me blush Do you remember walking into that classroom, I no longer remember the number of, But do you remember, seeing me sitting at the last row, Far away from crowds, hiding, quiet, silent, but you looked at me Do you remember walking up to me, asking my name? You sat next to me that day We got in trouble constantly We were talking too much Do you remember the next day? I was walking to school, And you ran after me I suppose, You were standing right next to me, "Want me to join you?" I giggled We walked around the school a couple of times After about an hour, and ditching two classes, you held my hand. Do you remember the following day? We ditched school once again, you took me to the lake We sat there and you put your hands around my waist You kissed my forehead instead of my lips You grabbed my hand, placed it at your heart, I could feel it beating "For you", you silently whispered I couldn't help it, I was falling for you I looked at you and smiled, I tilted my head towards you, You smiled and silently, delicately, placed your lips on mine It was my first kiss, the first silent touch I had ever received Do you remember a week later you whispered you loved me Do you remember the look on my face? I was smiling from ear to ear That was exactly what I needed to hear I laid my head against your chest, hearing your heart beat I knew this was all true "I love you too." Do you remember months after that? The fights that occurred. Do you remember yelling over the phone? Do you remember screaming in my face? Do you remember saying to me you never once loved me? Remember that? Remember when you broke me apart? When I cried in your arms and I didn't hear a single sorry When you said your good-bye days after that Could you not handle that? Seeing the pain you caused? Were you not man enough to face your actions? That was exactly what you caused The destruction of the one girl who loved you Were you not willing to continue? Why did you leave me with the pain to bare? Why didn't you take it? Did you mean it, you never loved me? Is that why you left me? Is that why you left me with the pain? Was it revenge? My head twirls with questions But I receive not one answer Do you want to know what you left me with? A broken smile, a broken heart, Broken trust, broken dreams, you broke one single girl apart into million of pieces
