Love Poem: Dawn

Dawn

When rising, the morning unprepared
Recoils beneath her silhouette, that bright
Feline cast so effortlessly dared
The world set loose from a dreaming night.
In her eyes, the yielding azure glow
Shames the heavens for their livid dye,
They may not hope or dare to go
Against such vibrant shards of sky.

When moving, she holds my breath to wait
Inside the stony chest, that lung
Sealed fast, thus fails to respirate,
Holds faster still my soporific tongue.
Banished, lost, my silence sings
Of rapture on a summer morn;
The miracle her beauty brings,
The light that shines of Dawn.
