Dangling Keys

After a night of romance, after a drink or two, after we leave the noise, my eye catches you. While in the long taxi ride telling me you've had a great time I look at your beautiful face... and smile. We laugh and play, giggle and smile, until finally, the taxi stops all to soon. I walk you to your door waiting for you to walk in, but you stand there looking me in the eye... waiting... and waiting... for that moment, for that kiss. Right when I'm about to walk away, you give me a sign. I hear a little 'tinkle, tinkle' and I turn around There, I capture your lips. Oh, your pure sweet lips. And I swear that I can taste heaven. You've just brightened my day. After what seems to be ages, you invite me in. We sit on the couch and drink, laugh, and play the night away.
