Dangerous Love

In another world, in another time, I'd be yours and you'd be mine. Our fate played us like a child with her toys, our love stood no chance as it was murdered for reasons lost in life's noise.

Memories can live but flesh must die, why our love burned so fierce, we'll never know why. Is this the meaning of love, what we found? Will our love carry on when we're not around?

I dared to love you when I knew love would die. I dared to believe no matter how lost we could be that our love would somehow fly. Would it light up the darkness for what war had begun?
Facing each other down barrels of guns.

Are we to be abandoned by love because of what we'd become?

This war took us away from each other, to fight, to kill, to live or to die, we don't know the reasons....we don't know for why.

The dreams in our hearts, we must never let go. Though our time together was too short to comprehend,

my love for you will live forever it will never, ever end.
