Daddy's Girl

My Momma once told me, "You're just like your Dad."
I know she was pleased, and she was really glad.
My Dad carried me gently when I was a baby,
A little older and he'd have a tea party... Maybe!
A few years later he taught me to ride a bike,
Warned and guided me when we took a hike.
My Dad questioned the lessons that school taught,
I had to teach him with the calculator we bought.
My Dad has always wanted the best for me,
Ever since I was little and sat upon his knee.
I'm all grown up and my mind is in a whirl
Because I still know, I'm Daddy's little Girl.
