Love Poem: Cupid's Flight

Cupid's Flight

I fly through the air with my bow and arrow,
Through valleys wide and passageways narrow.
Putting people together that were once alone,
Melting their resistance and hearts of stone.

It doesn't matter what age that you may be,
Somewhere down life's road you'll encounter me.
Some people actually look for me, up to the skies they glance,
But many are afraid to give true love a chance.

Still others stay on the fence not knowing how they really feel,
It's those that truely need my help - those hearts for to heal.
When people have been severely hurt by a mate,
It's definitely hard to get them to even chance a date.

I'll never stop trying to help these people far and near,
Love is something precious, special and oh .... so dear.
When you're ready for me - my arrow will pierce your heart,
Your partner's waiting for you, from your side - never more to part!
