Crystal Clarity
Her presence casts an aura
independent of sunlight,
like the glow of an angel.
Passion and desire unite
in a symphony of hope,
orchestrated by my heart.
She is a delicate breeze
caressing all my senses,
the first flower of my spring.
And glimpsed through a teardrop
her beauty is surreal,
in its crystal clarity.
Anticipation pumps my
pounding heart on her approach,
yet, she smiled and walked on by.
And though my heart was breaking
she simply continued on,
like I wasn't even there.
