Love Poem: Crysis

Crysis

A young man tells a story
A passionate one
One of love
One of hatred
A man tore apart from greed
A man tore apart from passion
I can’t imagine how he feels
Does he feel like me?
He is like one of the lost men
One of the unknown –
Islam, Christianity, Judaism, different sects
For one purpose
To oversee
The god is somewhere
We search
Yet he is close by
I see him now
He is large
Black
Is that satan?
No it is god
I’m sure
Or so the story says
Maybe the story doesn’t say
What is that?
I love you
Never leave
Gluttony
A sin
What shall I do?
Build an empire
I will rise and overcome
For a new purpose
For god alongside
My heart
I don’t see God
He is somewhere
But I remember in my head
That I know he is not visible
Humans cannot see God
So, what shall I do?
I try to see him
I will continue my quest
It is not against the law
It is not against religion
I love my God
Please let me see him
Windy blowing
I see another shadow from the light
A friend to my quest
He says
Read
Read for purpose
I cannot read
I am blind
I am illiterate
I can read now
I understand God’s language
I am favoured
But not close
I try more.
The ending draws near
I must place a final end to my journey
After all – all life ends
So I say – the purpose of life is to be happy
Pleased to survive
I sit amongst this chair
This chair of passion
To say my feelings
But I am not closer to God
I feel it
Something happens
God appears
