Crying Away My Life

IT’S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT I STILL CRY
OVER ANYTHING, SOMETHING, AND NOTHING
A SAD MOVIE, THE WAY I FEEL, THE WAY I THINK
THIS IS THE WAY I’VE BEEN SINCE MY MAM DIED
TEARS JUST SEEM TO STREAM FROM MY EYES
AT THE THOUGHT OR SOUND OF ANYTHING SAD
AND AT THE SAME TIME MY STOMACH ACHES
AS IF IT’S FULL OF PAIN, AND GRIEF
AND AT ALL MY MISTAKES
MY WHOLE BODY FEELS AS THOUGH IT SHAKES
WHEN I THINK OF MY LIFE
WHEN I THINK OF MY BEAUTIFUL WIFE
WHEN I THINK OF MY BOYS
I LIVED MY LIFE TO FIND A WIFE
BUT REALLY IT WAS JUST A WAY OF LIFE
BUT WHEN I LOST THEM, I LOST MY LIFE
EVEN NOW I’M STILL BY MYSELF
I FIND IT SO HARD TO BE ALONE
I HOPE AND PRAY THAT ONE DAY MY LIFE
WILL ONCE AGAIN BECOME WHOLE
AND TO HAVE A LIFE AGAIN ONCE MORE
