Crimson Babe

Hey you there(my crimson babe)
come here-
sit on my knee and tell me a love story
and care for me
and be with me,
for I need love;
no desperation here,
it's required.

Come here(my crimson babe)
with your red and bronze skin,
you beauty comes from the most beautiful of goddesses
and you have a heart so warm
that it could melt glaciers
that the sun couldn't burn away.
Come here and give me a kiss-
and tell me the tall tales of your travels
trough all the liars and the deceivers
who each stabbed your heart and took a piece with them.
Tell me oh(my crimson babe)
so I can wipe away those crystal clear tears,
from your big, beautiful, brown eyes,
and I can make everything better again.

You there(my crimson babe)
I saw you from afar
tripping on your own two feet,
with a torn dress
and bruises on your back and neck.
What is this-(a busted lip) blood has been drawn-
no! I cannot let this go on.
You, yes I'm talking to you(my crimson babe)
come to me,
and I'll wipe away all the tears,
stich up all the wounds,
soothe all those bruises,
and I shall sing you a sweet song,
as you lay in my arms(my crimson babe)
Come here-at you own pace-
come now(my crimson babe)
and I will make everything better,
and restore that once beautiful, golden smile again.
