Love Poem: Crazed

Crazed

There are no words she can say to lighten his darkened way.
His self respect he does reject to let the darkness stay,
Trapped in a riddle and played like a fiddle;
With fake, caressed, in arrogance dressed far below the middle.

Frenzied with frustration, self permitted exasperation,
For although pain is all she'll gain, she assists palliation.
Lurking in his peril, where hope's been made sterile,
She forfeits her dignity applying benignity for his love, feral.

When in comes the tide to give her a ride,
Too caught in his web, to catch the ebb, her chance is thus denied.
Well seasoned and braised, she's smitten, amazed;
Hooked on his line, drunk on his wine, and with love, so Crazed.
