COURTSHIP Trekking took us on mountain top Flocks of birds chirped, chattered and hoped. Off and on foggy curtain to drop. We two sat in front of fountain. A day of courtship on mountain. Love! Probable or certain? Frolic fountain oozing droplets, as diamonds shine on my wristlets. In mind poem rhymed in couplets. Love adorned with crown of glory. For the day we forgot worry. Every droplet told our story. Our courtship now to roll and run May be in rains or under Sun. Two young hearts sink in unison. 08/13/22 A Brian Strand Premier Choice Contest by Brian Strand
