Constant Fear of a Broken Heart

The day I cried the most
Began with a strike of light
All I had was gone, by the early and dark night!

You returned a lover’s pain
As the river meets the ocean
From turmoil rocking moment , to the quiet sound of motion!

It started in early August
The month no one is marrying
And it ended by July, agonizing by the bearing

Dissipating my fear through disdain
You promised me never betray
And yet here you are, taking my breath away

This suffering is never a gain, never a gain
For the lonely broken heart
We just now walk the journey, following souls who fell apart

The day I cried the most
You Returned a lover’s pain,
It Started in early August
Dissipating my fear through disdain
This suffering is never a gain, never a gain!
