Love Poem: Come With Me Ii

Come With Me Ii

Come with me, my friend,
Together, a better world to built:
Kinder
Fairer
Nobler

A more compassionate world
For me
For you
For our children
For all of us!

A difficult task it is I declare
An impossible undertaking the
Centuries of old may
Assert

But

More centuries ahead wait
To be born,
Innocent centuries,
Pure millennia,
We must not betray their trust
In us!

Let us, therefore, begin
Building this magnificent world
Of our dreams:
THE LOVING WORLD!
Let us not disappoint
The promising future!

Tell me,
Is there a finer duty?
A holier undertaking?
A more righteous and sacred
Mission than this?

Is there anything else
More aspired by men?
More loved by God?

Come!
Do not linger any longer,
Let us DARE!

You and I, together,
Let's start this superb
Enterprise!

We owe it to humanity
Present and future,
Let us lay the foundations of this
Glorious edifice TODAY,
Let us alter the history of
Mankind forever

Taking the first step
Forward:
Ourselves to CHANGE!*

*Many new poets have arrived and know me only from my Monoku
this poem is a repost slightly revised but the message remain the
same and wish to pass it on! (First posted in January 2013)

My yesterday's MONOKU " IF A BETTER WORLD" is the gist of the above poem: "If one a better world yearns to see built, first must himself into the proper material to shape!"
