Come Back

Why do I torture myself this way? I read your letters every day. I think of joyful days when we were friends but now my sorrow never ends. I miss your music and your funny smile and wish you’d come back for a while. I miss your crazy lingo when you were my crazy “Dingo”. But a black bird stole you from me and you left me here on my knees. I call your name but you just ignore. Please come back into my arms once more. Hear my sincere words and kiss my soft lips. Put your strong hands on my hips. Hold me close in my sweetest dreams. Forget all your crazy schemes. Can’t you see how I love you? Come collect your just dues.
